About
Mechanical Engineer, Operations Leader, and Problem Solver
I'm a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Temple University who enjoys solving problems, building systems, and turning ideas into reality. My experiences range from engineering design projects and technical analysis to leading business operations and managing teams.
My Journey
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University, where I developed a foundation in design, analysis, manufacturing, and problem-solving through coursework, laboratory experience, and multidisciplinary projects.
After graduation, an opportunity arose to build a business from the ground up. What began as a personal goal evolved into a multi-year experience managing projects, leading teams, developing systems, and navigating the challenges of operating a growing business.
Although my career path temporarily moved away from traditional engineering roles, the experience strengthened many of the same skills that make successful engineers effective: problem-solving, project management, communication, process improvement, and continuous learning.
Today, I'm combining those experiences as I return to the engineering field, bringing both technical knowledge and real-world leadership experience to the next chapter of my career.
What I've Learned
Engineering taught me how to analyze problems. Business taught me how to execute solutions.
Together, these experiences shaped the way I approach challenges today. Whether I'm designing a component, managing a project, improving a process, or leading a team, I focus on understanding the problem, identifying constraints, and developing practical solutions.
One of the most valuable lessons I've learned is that successful projects require more than technical expertise. Communication, accountability, planning, and continuous improvement are often just as important as the technical solution itself.
These experiences also changed how I view the world around me. Whether it's a machine, structure, product, or process, I naturally think about why it was designed a certain way, what constraints influenced those decisions, and how it could potentially be improved.
